Run Need For Speed Most Wanted (2005) on Windows 7,8,10,11

 

In this guide you will learn how to run Need For Speed: Most Wanted on Windows 7,8,10,11 (and newer)

1). First we need to update our game to the 1.3 version. To do that we need to go to this page (clickable link) and click "Download this file". Then we download the file "nfsmwpatch1.3.zip"*

*In order to extract a .zip file, you need a program to do so. The most popular ones are WinRAR or 7-zip. I use WinRAR

Extract the downloaded file, open the folder and click on "nfsmwpatch1.3.exe". Wait for the update process to finish

Important: If a window pops up saying that this file was not installed successfully (or something like that) then it's a good idea to do it again

2) Now we need to download the No-CD Fix from this page (clickable link). Of course, we extract the file and open it. Then we copy the "speed.exe" file to the folder/location of our game and replace the file at the destination (as shown in the video below)

Important: Make sure that the file size is appropriate (5888 KB) and that no shortcut was created when pasting

3) The last step is to download WidescreenFix. This script allows you to set high resolution (e.g. 1920x1080p or 2560x1440p) which this game does not support by default. Go to this page (clickable link) and at the very bottom click on "NFSMostWanted.WidescreenFix.zip". After downloading the file, we have to extract it, of course. Then we open the "NFSMostWanted.WidescreenFix" folder and copy the "scripts" folder and the "dinput8.dll" file to the folder/location with our game. Now open the "scripts" folder and open the "NFSMostWanted.WidescreenFix.ini" file. In ResX and ResY we enter the resolution of our monitor, e.g. ResX = 2560 ResY = 1440 (look at the screenshot below). If you play on a controller then you can change the buttons to those of the Xbox 360 or PS2 in "ImproveGamepadSupport". You can also disable motion blur in "DisableMotionBlur". Don't forget to save changes*

*Important: If you can't save the changes then move the file to the desktop, edit it as you like, then save and paste this file back into the "scripts" folder

OnePlus Contacts app hasn't synchronized since Many Months???

When  try to sync contacts, the loading sync keeps going and never ends??

Tried:
- Downloading contacts app
- Clearing cache and data of the app
- Upgrading system to latest version C.40
- Trying to sync from settings -> accounts

Solution:-

OnePlus Contacts app hasn't synchronized since Many Months???, according to the Google account settings screen. Turning on and off sync has no effect. Restarting the app, clearing the cache also have no effect. There are no error messages that may help to fix this. 

SOLUTION: 

This was finally due to a lack of storage space... 

Once done, everything synched again. I would have appreciated an error message saying this was the reason though.

To Sync Your Gmail Contact on Device Automatically, You Need Minimum 10 GB of Free Space on Your Mobile.

This is Due to a Bug in Oneplus Mobiles. And Still this bug has Not been addressed/solved by Oneplus. 

This is still not resolved from OnePlus but it is such a ridiculous bug. Just to sync contacts of some KBs, we need to keep 10 GB of free storage.

I'm always low on storage and having to free up and waste 10GB of available storage space is just a nightmare but it's the only way my Google Account and its services (Keep, Contacts, Calendar, etc.) continue syncing on my Oneplus.
