This article is for the Windows XP & Vista users who want to restart the computer after the software installation or at any other time if system may request you to restart. At that time you don’t want to restart the computer, instead follow the steps to restart Windows without restarting the computer.
1. Click the Shut down button in Start menu as you will do to restart your computer.
2. Hold Shift Key and Click Restart button to restart windows without restarting your computer.
