Cellphone Threats

The urge to do new things has led people to invent new things. After experimenting new concepts on computers now people heading towards cellphones. Today cellphones are not only the mode of communication but it also provides the power to hold the world in ur hands.

Like computer viruses, cellphone viruses are also in the news now. Now any1 can take info about your cellphone. One can easily change the whole data of your cellphone. can send spam messages from your cell. cellphone virus are getting dangerous day by day, by seeing this anyone"s mind can get diverted towards it"s security. Now lets take a look towards the security of your cellphone. 

10 August 2010 is not that important day but on that day a mobile anti-virus company found out a virus on Anroid. This virus can send sms anonymously to those numbers for which premium rates were applied. This virus was made with an intention to steal the money of many users. 

This virus from China was found attacking Android phones.It was named Gemini. This virus used to get attached with legitimate applications. Mainly to 3rd party games. So users be aware and don"t use such applications.

New techniques have their advantages along with some disadvantages. Big Anti-virus companies like Quick heal and Kaspersky are launching anti-virus for cellphones.
Quick heal has  launched it"s anti-virus for windows mobile. This AV works on windows mobile ver. 5.0, 6.0 and 6.1 . 
Kaspersky has launched it"s upgraded ver. 9.0. This product includes mobile anti-virus and anti malware and network attack. This also have option of anti-phishing.

So guys use good quality anti-virus (like Quick heal and Kaspersky) and make your cellphone virus and malware attack free.
